De Parken Vitality Programme

As a local authority, we want everyone to enjoy living in their neighbourhood and to continue to do so in the future. That is why we involve you at an early stage in the planning process. We want to work together to draw up plans that everyone supports. The Vitality Agenda is a plan for the future setting out specific actions for the coming years. The views and experiences of the local community are important in this regard.

Residents’ document adopted

The consultations with residents in De Parken have now been completed. We had some fruitful discussions during which we heard some great ideas and your views on the area.

On 12 May 2026, an open evening was held at De Parkenschool. During the evening, the residents’ document was presented and residents had the opportunity to speak with professionals from the local council and other organisations involved. The aim was to check whether the document was complete and to find out if any important points were missing. The meeting went well and around 30 residents attended.

The feedback gathered during this evening has been incorporated into the residents’ document. Following this meeting, the document has now been finalised. This means that no further changes or additions can be made.

What happens next?

The municipality of Apeldoorn will now, together with its partners (including the neighbourhood association), set to work on formulating objectives and actions based on this document to implement the vitality agenda for De Parken.

As soon as the vitality agenda has been approved by the council, it will be published on the Apeldoorn council website. Residents of De Parken will also receive a postcard by then.
