Outreach Youth and Family Support Worker, Team Vroeg

You make a difference in the early years

Are you an experienced youth and family support professional with a passion for young children? CJG Vroeg focuses on early identification and promoting positive development. Would you like to support families with questions about their young child’s development and/or behaviour? If so, this role within the CJG Apeldoorn’s CJG Vroeg Outpatient Team would be the perfect fit for you.

Here’s what you’ll be doing
As a community-based youth and family worker, you carry out assessments within families, maintaining close contact with parents/carers, the child and pre-school settings. You analyse the situation comprehensively, identify issues, provide encouragement, offer appropriate advice and, where necessary, provide support yourself. You work in an integrated and system-oriented manner, taking all areas of life into account. You empower families to find solutions themselves and prioritise the interests of the family and the child. Your main tasks are:

  • Observing and analysing family situations;
  • Encouraging the development of young children;
  • Working in partnership with youth health services, the social support network and pre-school facilities;
  • Encouraging people to talk about their concerns;
  • Working in accordance with the IMH approach and systemic theory.
