Apeldoorn is developing a total of 76 homes on Molenstraat Centrum in collaboration with Ontwikkelings Maatschappij Apeldoorn (OMA), Trebbe and the De Goede Woning housing association. These will be rental and owner-occupied homes in the affordable price segment.

The developments in the Veldhuis neighbourhood tie in perfectly with this vision. The initiators – Ontwikkelings Maatschappij Apeldoorn (OMA), Trebbe and housing association De Goede Woning – are set to build homes on Molenstraat-Centrum. The Molenstraat Centrum sub-development is the first project to be realised within the Veldhuis area development. It forms the gateway to the future Veldhuis. The focus is on a development of high architectural and urban planning quality, with a link to the area’s history. The plan comprises two residential blocks with a total of 76 homes – both rental and owner-occupied – in the affordable price segment. The planning permission was granted in May 2025 and the site was handed over, ready for construction, in November 2025.
On 14 November 2025, the local community was informed by the developer of the start of construction on the Veldhuis Molenstraat Centrum development. The entire construction project is expected to take at least 1.5 to 2 years. The work is being carried out by Trebbe.

The project involves the construction of a residential tower block with 60 social housing flats, which will be let through De Goede Woning. And 16 flats with shared entrance halls, which will be sold as owner-occupied homes in the affordable segment via Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij Apeldoorn. We are delighted that the realisation of these homes is now on the horizon. There is high demand for housing in our municipality too.
