What is covered by the grant?

• Contribution in kind (up to 50% of the total costs)
• Out-of-pocket costs

Example of a contribution in kind

• Use of own equipment
• Own labour costs
• Volunteer work at €36 per hour

Example of out-of-pocket expenses (please keep your invoice and proof of payment)

• Guest speakers
• Printing costs for promotional materials for activities

What is not covered?

• Techniques already in use, such as insulation materials or solar panels
• Administrative costs for the grant application
• Costs subsidised by third parties

VAT

• If your organisation is eligible to claim back VAT, you will not receive a grant to cover the VAT payable.
• Are you a private individual or a foundation that is not eligible for a VAT refund? In that case, the VAT is covered by the grant.
