Seven proposals from local residents are to receive funding

The seven initiatives

The following initiatives will receive a grant:

• Mourning & Celebrating Apeldoorn – 2026 edition. An initiative that provides a space for people to meet, connect and reflect on grief and celebrate life.
• Extension of the playing field at Landmetersveld in south-east Apeldoorn. This gives children more opportunities to play outdoors and socialise with one another.
• Redesign and extension of the playing field at Driehuizerspreng in Apeldoorn North-West. The playground will be made more appealing and will offer children more of a challenge.
• Redesign and extension of the playing field at Altena in Apeldoorn Southwest. Here, too, more space is being created for play, exercise and socialising.
• Construction of a new playing field on Bouwhofweg in Apeldoorn Southwest. A new place where children can play safely and local residents can meet up.
• Extension of the playing field at the Parlevinkershoeve in south-east Apeldoorn. The playground is being expanded and will offer more play options.
• Construction of a new playground on Koning Lodewijklaan in Apeldoorn North-West. This new meeting place encourages children and families to play outdoors more often.
