Even if you are homeless or living on the streets, or if you are using social support services, you may still be eligible for benefits. Please get in touch with us. Call 14055 and ask for ‘Work and Income’.
Please check your most recent invitation for the name of your contact person. If you cannot find it, please contact the Customer Contact Centre on 14 055. They are available Monday to Thursday from 08.30 to 17.00 and on Friday from 08.30 to 12.30.
If you are enrolled on a course and are eligible for student finance, you are not, in principle, entitled to benefits. Please check with DUO first to see if you are eligible for a supplementary loan. If you have any questions about this, please email jongerenloket@apeldoorn.nl
In that case, your support worker or the organisation where you are currently staying can apply for a benefit on your behalf. They can do so by sending an email to instellingen@apeldoorn.nl.
If you have any questions, please contact Werk en Inkomen on 14 055.
You can ring the ‘Voor Elkaar’ team every working day from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm on 0575 568 568. You can also email them at info@teamvoorelkaar.nl.
You can now book an appointment to apply for social security benefits. The outcome of the interview and the start date of your benefits will depend on a number of factors that we will discuss during the interview.
Once you’ve made an appointment, you’ll receive a confirmation by email. That email will also tell you what you need to bring to the interview, such as your ID and your CV.
Is your situation very urgent, but are you unable to book an appointment at short notice because there are no slots available in the diary? Or do you have other questions first? If so, please call the Youth Helpdesk on 14 055, and we’ll see if there are any other options.
Your application for benefits also comes with certain obligations, such as the requirement to apply for jobs and the requirement to undertake training. This means that you must make an active effort to fulfil these obligations for at least four weeks.
