So proud
Find out for yourself! The Apentrots programme consists of a workbook, a guest lesson from the CJG and Apenheul on nutrition, and an exercise session run by Sportservice. We round off the programme with a lesson at Apenheul led by a guide.

The book contains all sorts of fun and educational exercises on physical activity and healthy living. Teachers also receive lesson plans to go with the class workbooks.
Participation in this programme is free of charge. Schools are responsible for organising their own transport and supervision to and from Apenheul. The costs of transport and parking are to be borne by the school.
You can register until 24 November. Don’t delay! Registrations will be processed in the order they are received. Once you’ve registered, we’ll get in touch to arrange your lessons. Do you have any questions about the Apentrots programme? If so, please email them to: jogg@apeldoorn.nl
Registration is no longer possible at this time.
Good news: the Apentrots teaching programme is now also available to special needs schools! During the last edition, we trialled the programme at a number of special needs schools. This pilot provided valuable insights, enabling us to adapt the programme to the needs of these pupils and teachers. As delivering Apentrots in special needs education requires a bespoke approach, there will be places for three special needs schools to take part in the 2025–2026 academic year. We look forward to inspiring these pupils with Apentrots too!
