School Canteen Challenge

Every year, Jong Leren Eten organises the School Canteen Challenge, in which secondary school pupils are invited to come up with a tasty snack or light bite for the school canteen. They are provided with resources to help them develop a sustainable, healthy and realistic product. Participation in the challenge can be organised flexibly. For example, it can take place during form time, but schools may also choose to incorporate it into a project week. The challenge begins every year in October and the final is scheduled for March. Further information is available on the website of Learning to Eat from a Young Age.
