Councillor Jacqueline Pol-de Visser has passed away

It is with sadness that Apeldoorn City Council has learnt of the death of Jacqueline Pol-de Visser, a councillor for Lokaal Apeldoorn. She passed away on Tuesday evening at the age of 63, following a short illness.

Jacqueline was a highly regarded councillor with great people skills and a wide social network in Apeldoorn. She had a knack for bringing people together and building bridges. Her passing is a great loss. It is hard to comprehend that the town council and the town must bid her farewell so suddenly.

Tonight’s council meeting, on Thursday 15 October, will begin with a minute’s silence in memory of Jacqueline. In addition, the meeting’s agenda has been amended.

A condolence area has been set up in the Citizens’ Hall at the town hall, where anyone can offer their condolences.

The town council’s thoughts are with her family, loved ones and everyone who was dear to her. We also extend our sympathies to the political group, the executive committee and the members of Lokaal Apeldoorn, of which Jacqueline was a councillor.

On behalf of Apeldoorn Town Council,

Ton Heerts
Chair

Councillor Jacqueline Pol-de Visser
