building on Auroralaan that is to make way for housing development

39 Auroralaan

Ever since the Aldi supermarket moved out of its premises at 39 Auroralaan in 2021, work has been underway on a new plan for this site. The property owner, Wide Forest Investments, intends to demolish the existing retail premises and build 40 affordable rental flats on the site.

The site is now fully built on or paved. Under the new plan, a four-storey residential building will be constructed, surrounded by landscaped grounds. Wide Forest Investments will hold the properties as an investment itself.
