A new residential area is to be developed in the triangle formed by Waterloseweg, Pr. Beatrixlaan and the Apeldoorn–Amersfoort railway line, comprising 150 to 300 social and mid-priced rental homes, surrounded by a green park. This project is being carried out in collaboration with De Goede Woning and De Woonmensen.
An attractive place to live and spend time
The aim is to transform the area into an attractive place to live and work, whilst respecting its historical context. In doing so, we are focusing on enhancing the area’s natural assets, such as the restoration of the Orderbeek, which plays a key role in the city’s green-blue infrastructure. This component, the Beekdal, is a standalone project. The development will be approached in a sustainable and nature-inclusive manner, with the ambitions being further elaborated during the planning process. In addition, we naturally aim to secure broad support for the plans by actively involving the local community in both the planning and implementation phases.
First information session
On Tuesday 18 June, the first information meeting took place, at which we briefed interested parties on the developments at Prinses Beatrixlaan 301. The aim of the evening was to inform local residents about the initial plans and to give them the opportunity to comment on them, ask questions and find out about the next steps and the timetable.
