Vlijtsepark Towers, Apeldoorn

Vlijtse Park Towers

Property developer VanWonen is developing four residential towers on the corner of Edisonlaan and Vlijtseweg, under the name ‘Vlijtse Parktorens’. The residential towers form part of a new urban area that fits in well with the other developments on Vlijtseweg. With a significant number of new homes being built here, we are taking another step in the right direction. Apeldoorn is growing. Apeldoorn is developing.

Developer VanWonen’s plan is to build four towers here, providing 390 homes. The towers will be of varying heights: approximately 75 metres, 58 metres, 48 metres and 38 metres. The tallest tower will contain 160 flats. It will have around 22 storeys and is intended for social housing. The layout on each floor will be varied. At ground level, the Wensink dance school will return.

For the time being, the lower towers on Vlijtseweg will comprise a mix of owner-occupied and rental properties. There will be no parking facilities beneath the residential towers for residents because the council has a multi-storey car park next to the swimming pool is being built with space for around 600 cars. VanWonen is looking into whether there might also be space for a health centre. Discussions are currently underway with various parties who may be able to secure a space here.
