Explanatory notes

The local authority intends, pursuant to the Burial Act and Article 29 of the 2018 Cemetery Management Regulations, to remove the grave monuments from the graves in question one year after the date of this publication. The materials will remain at the disposal of the entitled parties until 1 August 2027, after which they will revert to the municipality, which shall not be obliged to pay any compensation. The grave monuments will then be destroyed.

Furthermore, in accordance with the Burial Act and Article 21 of the 2018 Cemetery Management Regulations, we intend to declare all rights to these graves forfeited and to proceed with their clearance. The graves in question that are to be cleared have been marked with a sign and a red sticker.

The actual clearance will take place one year after this public notice. In due course, the cleared graves will be reallocated as new graves. For further information, please contact the cemetery administration on 055-5801724.
