You must not bury or cremate the deceased any earlier than 36 hours and no later than 6 working days after their death.
- Would you like to bury or cremate the deceased at an earlier date? If so, you will need permission from the public prosecutor and the mayor, as well as a medical certificate.
- Would you like to bury or cremate the deceased at a later date? If so, you will need permission from the mayor and a doctor’s certificate.
