If you are interested in a market stall, you have the option of first attending one of the markets as a trial. Attending as a trial means that you wish to be considered for a vacant market stall (a so-called ‘day stall’). Being allocated a day stall does not mean that you are automatically entitled to a market stall.

If, according to the sector list, there are no places available in your sector yet, you can join a waiting list.

To remain on the waiting list, you must submit a written request for renewal each year, within one year of your registration.

Applying for a market licence
When allocating a vacant market stall, the waiting lists and supplementary lists are combined. Consideration is given not only to the date of registration, but also, for example, to the sector. The aim is to ensure the greatest possible variety of sectors at the markets.

The Bibob Act
We can now assess your application against the The Bibob Act. This Act allows the local authority to refuse a licence if there are indications that there is a serious risk that the licence will be used (in part) to commit criminal offences. To undergo the assessment under the Bibob Act, please complete a separate application form. You will receive this form from the local authority, and it can be found on the BIBO page.
An allocation round takes place once every two months. This means that you can apply for another vacant pitch at the market or for an increase in the number of metres (up to a maximum of 8 metres). If you wish to be considered for this, please complete the form below.
Would you like to change any of the following:
- Notify us of a change of address
- Change the number of metres for your pitch
- Changing your sales channel
- Cancelling your market stall
In that case, you can notify us of this change via Amendment to a market licence.

To be eligible for a permanent or daily trading pitch, you must be registered in the Chamber of Commerce’s trade register and hold a valid identity document.
