Below are the conditions for applying for a street performer’s licence:
- You may remain in one location for a maximum of 30 minutes at a time. After these 30 minutes, you must find a location at least 150 metres away from the previous one.
- Performances may take place a maximum of twice within 24 hours at a single venue (and within a radius of 50 metres).
- Music may not be played before 10.00 am or after 8.00 pm.
- The music must not be amplified.
- You must ensure that entrances, windows and shop windows are not blocked.
- You may only ask for money in a passive manner, for example by placing a small container on the ground.
- The licence may only be used by the person to whom it was issued.
- You must ensure that your activities do not cause any disruption to events.
