Before submitting your application, please check the terms and conditions on the website. Please send an email to apvvergunningen@apeldoorn.nl requesting a copy of the “fireworks sales licence application form”.
The local authority will process your application within 8 weeks.
The Bibob Act
Your application will be assessed in accordance with the Bibob Act. This Act allows the local authority to refuse a licence if there are indications that there is a serious risk that the licence will be used (in part) to commit criminal offences. To undergo the assessment under the Bibob Act, please complete a separate application form. You will receive this form from the local authority, and it can also be found on the BIBO page.
A licence to sell fireworks costs €590.03.
Apeldoorn City Council assesses the following points:
- Applications for a fireworks licence must be submitted no later than 12 weeks before the sale.
- The storage and sale of fireworks do not cause any nuisance or public order problems
- The storage and sales area complies with the requirements of the Fireworks Decree.
- The environmental plan permits the storage and sale of fireworks
- You only sell fireworks around New Year’s Eve.
