A guarantee certifies that someone from the Netherlands (a family member, friend or acquaintance) will cover any costs (and debts) incurred by the visitor.
The Certificate of Private Accommodation is required if you are providing accommodation in the Netherlands to visitors who need a visa before travelling to the Netherlands.
Please complete the form guarantee and/or private accommodation from the IND. Please hand in the form in person at the counter in the town hall, Marktplein 1. Please book an appointment using the button above. Please bring valid proof of identity with you!
If your partner (spouse or civil partner) also answered ‘yes’ to the question about acting as guarantor when booking the online appointment, then your partner must also accompany you (with valid proof of identity) to sign the form.
You must sign the form in the presence of the official, and we will authenticate it immediately. Your application will then be processed straight away.
