Here’s what you’ll be doing
Variety and a challenge: as a Civil Affairs specialist, you’ll certainly find both at Apeldoorn City Council. One moment you’ll be at the counter handling an application for naturalisation, an initial registration from abroad or a birth registration; the next, you’ll be on the phone or in the back office providing information, processing digital declarations and divorces, or updating the Municipal Personal Records (BRP). You’ll be up to date with the relevant legislation, advising and assisting residents. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Here’s what you need to take
You’re strong on the substance, but what makes you a truly excellent Civil Affairs specialist is your focus on customer service and process optimisation. You thrive on getting to the bottom of things and making things even better or easier for residents. With your positive attitude, you adapt easily to changing circumstances. Naturally, you have a good understanding of the relevant legislation and regulations and know how to keep these up to date independently. You are also available for at least four days a week and can work during the evening opening hours (Thursdays). In addition:
