Make a difference to the Apeldoorn of tomorrow and, as an energy transition consultant, help build a sustainable, future-proof energy system
Apeldoorn aims to be energy-neutral and natural gas-free by 2050. We can achieve this by using less energy and generating more (locally sourced) renewable energy. In addition, we face a huge construction challenge. We believe it is important that the energy transition remains feasible, affordable, reliable and future-proof. And that is quite a challenge given the grid congestion. As an energy transition adviser, you will make a substantive contribution to the energy transition, both in policy development and in providing advice.

As an Energy Transition Adviser, you will be part of the Integrated Energy System team, where we pioneer, experiment and learn together.
In practical terms, this means that you:

Complex issues are no challenge for you. You quickly identify the underlying connections, understand what will be needed in the future, and raise these points for discussion within the Energy Transition programme and with colleagues from other departments. You will then advise political and administrative bodies on these matters. You are someone who does not shy away from innovation. You are curious and keen to contribute to the energy transition.
