Working together to foster growth and resilience within the Apeldoorn Education and Youth Support team
The OJA! team is all about creating opportunities for young people and families – will you join us? At CJG Apeldoorn, we are looking for an experienced outreach youth and family worker for our OJA! team (Education and Youth Support Apeldoorn). In this varied role, you’ll support families so they can move forward under their own steam. You’ll work both in primary and secondary schools and at home within the family system. You’ll observe and support the young person, the teacher and the family, and advise them on how to tackle challenges together. Are you the outreach youth and family worker we’re looking for? Here’s what you’ll be doing
As a community-based youth and family worker, you are a flexible professional who works independently and is not afraid to take responsibility. You think and act creatively and have an open, inquisitive attitude. Together with other professionals and families, you draw up a family plan based on OJA!’s vision and methodology.
You’ll be working in a close-knit team, with a supportive team leader and a behavioural scientist who will provide you with subject-matter support.

For this role, we are looking for a committed professional with an understanding of children and experience in youth care. You understand the issues facing families and are not afraid to take action when necessary. In addition, you have strong communication skills and are able to give and receive feedback; you are also resilient under pressure and can handle conflicting interests.
