Vlijtsekade 2
Following the completion of Vlijtsekade 1 a few years ago, preparations are now under way for Vlijtsekade 2. This project marks the next step in the transformation of the area along the Apeldoorns Canal.
The former warehouse area next to Vlijtsekade 1 is being redeveloped into a residential area. On 23 June 2026, the developer presented the initial conceptual designs to local residents.
The area will feature around 189 flats and terraced houses, comprising a range of different housing types. The project will therefore contribute to a varied housing supply for different target groups.
Demolition of the existing warehouses is expected to begin in 2028. Development of the new residential area can then begin.
