The De Woonmensen Housing Association has begun the redevelopment of Wilhelm Tellstraat in Apeldoorn. At present, Wilhelm Tellstraat consists of a cluster of eight blocks comprising a total of 26 bungalows, including gardens, public green spaces and access paths. These properties are in poor condition and are due to be demolished.
Two new residential towers of different heights are to be built on the site that has become available. In total, there will be 170–190 social housing flats for single-person, two-person and three-person households.
There will also be more space for a new access road and additional green spaces. From Laan van Zevenhuizen and Sleutelbloemstraat, the new residential towers will soon be clearly visible.
