Moving within the Netherlands

Please notify the council of your move between 4 weeks before and 5 days after the move. If you notify the council of your move at a later date, the date on which the council receives your notification will be used as your moving date.

Moving abroad (emigration)

Will you be living abroad for more than 8 months within a 1-year period? You must deregister with the local authority no later than 5 days before your departure date. On your return, support from central government possible. There is also an infographic on this website.

If you are moving to a host family or a reception centre in the municipality of Apeldoorn, you must also complete the declaration of consent.
